Missouri Women's Political Caucus

MWPC's challenges:

• To increase women’s participation in the political process;

• To increase the number of feminist women in elected and appointed positions;

• To support candidates who will work for women’s issues and who will employ women in decision-making roles in their campaigns and office staffs;

• To work for the repeal of laws which discriminate on the basis of sex;

• To win equality for women;

• To draft and support legislation that complies with the principles of human equality and that concern the needs of women.

Political Parity by 2020!

The National Women's Political Caucus has a goal of achieving political parity (50 percent women in elected and appointed office) by 2020. The Missouri board meets regularly to move us closer to that goal.
